anniversary letdown
stayed here on our anniversary and there wasn’t much for the hotel to offer for extras. The room was just ok, door needed paint job, bathroom looked dirty. The plus side was the bed and bedding were great.

Traffic
Hotel is on Woodward Ave, a very busy boulevard. Exiting from parking was either North Woodward, or right on local streets to get to East Maple, to be able to go South on Woodward. (In fact you turn right on Woodward, and make a quick left to get to go South. A Very confusing method of travel!)

Business at the zoo
We were visiting the Detroit Zoo for business and this location was recommended by the zoo staff. It was conveiniently located to the zoo and tons of restaurants. Not a bad drive to the airport, about 30 minutes to get there.
