Loved It
Great hotel, big room, big TV. Staff was nice. Would have liked more breakfast choices such as waffles, as we have had in other hotels with no extra charge. Good place will go back.

Great home away from home
The Hyatt Place in Ft. Worth is a very nice place to stay when youre away from home. The entire place is well maintained, the room was clean and adequately accomodating (and then some), and the staff were helpful. I have two complaints, though, but they do not keep me from highly recommending this hotel. First, one of the receptionists was crabby, but everyone is entitled to a bad day. Secondly, even though I prepaid for the room on Expedia, I was charged by the Hyatt also, resulting in double paying for the room. It was not a big deal, as I called the Hyatt Place and they resolved the issue in a timely manner. My advice is this: If you prepay on Expedia, be sure to make the receptionist aware of this when you are checking out. They should be more attentive and notice this themselves, but it doesnt hurt to ensure they dont double bill you. I highly recommend the Hyatt, and the next time I am in Ft. Worth, I will be staying there myself.
You MUST visit Ol South Pancake House on University Dr. while you are in Ft. Worth. They have the worlds greatest German Pancakes (or Dutch Babies, the mini version of the same). Ol South is not the nicest, most modern looking place, but the food is fantastic. Every time Im in Ft. Worth, without fail, I eat at Ol South and order the German Pancakes or Dutch Babies. Your taste buds will thank you and encourage you to start looking for real estate in the city. :-)

Great rooms, lots of space
I love this Hyatt Place. I have stayed here before with family. Always pleasantly surprised by the quiet, extra large rooms. They have a sectional couch, whith a pull out bed, and a large screen TV. Even have a small fridge in the rooms. Breakfast is OK. Not as nice as some other place I have stayed, but for the price, it cant be beat.
With a 2 double room, and the pull out couch, this room can easily sleep 6. The room is large enough that with that many people it still does not feel crowded. The fridge is nice too, for keeping snacks and drinks(ones from the machines are always too costly). There are restaurants and a large shopping mall very close to the hotel.
