Perfect for skiing Aspen
This hotel was perfectly equipped, clean, good service, fantastic breakfest (variety/taste) - and a perfect location (less than 1/2hour car-drive away) for skiing Aspen area: having all the luxury / quality of the stay and not the hideous prices of the Aspen town. Returning back to the area I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

Good value for the money
The hotel was nice. The free breakfast each morning was great, extra money we didn’t have to come up with. Their HOT tub was the best.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If traveling on a budget, it’s worth the extra money to get the suite so that you can get the microwave and frige. We were able to eat in a few nights and save money.

Nice people
Night manager was extremely pleasant. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke but opening window and air-conditioning corrected it. Continental breakfast was good. Quiet, clean, and baked cookies in the lobby is a nice touch. No elevator however and anyone leaving you could hear the clunking of the suitcases on the stairs. This is a two story hotel. Email and phone available in lobby which is nice. Good price for what you receive. We will go again. Close to CMC (Colorado Mountain College), Aspen, and Glenwood Springs.

Nice Hotel
A nice hotel that was quiet and easy to get to. A close drive to downtown Carbondale and several nice places to eat. Breakfast area was clean for those who like breakfast should be a nice benefit.

Breakfast that was offered much better than typical "continental". Make your own waffles that were excellent.

Great VAlue for the Aspen Valley
This place had a price that was well below the area average, but the accomodations were quite nice. It has standard hotel rooms with a big bathroom and plenty of channels on the TV. There’s a great diner for breakfast right across the hiway on the way to the ski areas. Who says you can’t afford to ski Aspen???
