Not impressed at all
This hotel is very overpriced for the quality. The room was tiny even by European hotel standards, outdated and dirty. The elevator was so small one person had to go at a time and most of the lights in the hallway did not work. The beds were hard and old, sheets dirty. Parking is an extra 15 euro a night.

Great location
I stayed at clarisse for a few days in early may/07, the location is perfect, metro/tram 3min walk,plenty of bakeries, markets and the beautiful georges brassiens park is around the corner,had breakfast there every morning...request a room with ’full bath’ you will get a bigger bathroom :) very clean and they change sheets daily. day staff are cold, night staff are awesome. area very safe :)
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
book clarisse for your first few nights, while there take a walk,within a few blocks there are plenty of cheaper rates to be found with same amenities: priv bath/priv room etc.
