Not impressed
Hotel is very simple. Didn’t like the room, was too dark, bed was hard. I would pay a little more to stay in a place on the other side of the river in downtown.

You get what you pay for
Hotel du Helder was an affordable hotel option but the quality of the lodgings certainly reflected that. The concierge was not particularly welcoming, the walls were not sound proof, and the bed was horribly uncomfortable. I would not stay at the hotel again.
