Don’t stay unless you have to

This reservation was made as a last ditch effort. Once Parents weekend is announced-it is extremely difficult to find anything in Tallahassee-so I took this as an open room. The bathroom door had black dead insects with a cover of some spray over them-gross. The toilet ran the entire time we were there. The bathroom looked just old and outdated-the whole room did-and for that price-ouch! But as I said-Parent’s Weekend at FSU-you take what you can find-just hope it’s a beter one next year.

A Hotel past it’s prime

The room was not properly cleaned before we arrived or during our stay (trash on the floor when we arrived was never vacuumed up the following day). The sink stopper mechanism was broken and obviously sol TV movie rental feature did not function and the front desk basically said they didn’t know why it wasn’t available and that they couldn’t do anything about it. The AC (the below the window style unit) only really functioned as either a fan or on high cooling, setting it to low cooling or adjusting the temp control know had no effect. They had no spare rooms and couldn’t fix it during our stay so we got by with extra blankets. The complementary breakfast was also a disappointment, far too few tables and chairs to accomodate the guests and the coffee had run out and no one was available to replenish anything. The room door was difficult to unlock and very difficult to lock.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. If I return to Tallahassee I would stay there again.
