Average hotel in Mission Valley
This Marriot had exactly what I needed from a hotel for a 5 day business trip. It was walking distance from the office I spent each day working from and for that alone it was convienient. Decor was fairly dated, free wireless in the lobby area and the computers available to print a boarding pass were handy. It’s close to a limited number of restaurants but is a little far out of the main mission valley area. Overall it was an average hotel for an average business trip at a reasonable price.
The Fish Market seafood restaurant has a fantastic selection of fresh fish with a vast menu which changes daily. It’s right by the midway aircraft carrier and the views out into the harbour are great.

Great Value, Not the Best if you want to be in the action
Everything about this hotel was great, except the fact that you were nowhere near all the San Diego attractions (I should’ve researched this more before going). Great front office staff, safe parking, BEAUTIFUL pool/hottub/casitas/hammocks to relax in. Great for a conference, not for a tourist
