Quaint Inn
The room was very small for 2 people. no room to put the luggage or unpack clothes. No elevator so it was a pain lugging luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Room and bath were clean. we had continental breakfast included in the price which consisted of cereal, crossaint, fruit, and juice/coffee/tea. the other types of breakfasts are extra cost. The location was okay. just south of Stephens Green. The walking wasnt too bad to get to the attractions. The biggest problem we had was the noise outside at night. there was a late-night club down below and we would hear all the clubbers leaving at 3-4am and were loud. The window as fixed in the up position which we needed b/c the room was stuffy, so could hear the people and traffic outside.
if you are a pub hopper then go to temple bar area. Lots of pubs with live music.

Nice enough for the price
My mom and I stayed two nights at the Leeson because it was the cheapest hotel we could find in the area. The location is great, within walking distance to almost everything. We arrived early and the people at the desk let us drop off our bags, which was a big relief. My only complaints have to do with maintenance. The door handle broke off every time we pulled on it, and the bathroom sink was really, really plugged. Since we didnt spend that much time at the hotel, it didnt really matter. Save the money to spend doing things in the city instead of sitting at a fancy hotel!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The National Museum (archeology) is great, and requires a couple of hours to see everything. We tried to find traditional music, but found what was advertised as Irish music sometimes ends up being Johnny Cash renditions. ONeills Pub in Temple Bar had the best traditional music we found, even on Sunday.

Good hotel for travelers who dont want lots of frills
Good hotel in a great location near St Stephens Green and lots of good restaurants. Staff are very helpful and the hotel was clean. Not a good hotel for kids. The walls are thin and you can hear people walking up the stairs.
