Not impressed

The walls must have been very thin, we were able to hear every foot step and conversation begining at 6:30 am.

nice stay, close to CSUF and the Save Mart Center

it was a nice stay, a little bit far to walk from the Save Mart Center - 1 mile. but worth it. The room was nice and the shower was large, double headed shower head! Although we couldn’t get the remote to work, so we didn’t use the tv that night, but in the a.m. I manually turned it on and when my husband turned the channel, there was porn on - thank goodness I didn’t have any children with us, we turned the tv off!

It was comfortable, and worked for a quick overnight stay! Close to lots of food and the college.

Perfect Location for families with students at Fresno State

The hotel is convenient and the front desk was so helpful printing out directions for us. It was nice to have a laundry facility to do our laundry on site.

Good location

An older facility, but O.K. Not much variety for breakfast, but a definite plus when you are "on the run" as I often am. The staff were great. I will probably return on my next trip to Fresno.

The hotel is conveniently located across the street from FSU, and 2 minutes away from the freeway. Quiet hotel, friendly staff. I will definitely stay again.

Great Bang for the Buck

The hotel is a little older, but well maintained. Easy check in..I asked for a couple of pillows and they sent someone up even before we could make it to the room. Huge room with a sliding door onto a grassy courtyard. Comfortable king bed, excellent shower. Hot breakfast next morning...real eggs! Can’t beat it for the money.

Marie Callender’s and Black Angus just across the parking lot. Also fast food right across the street. A little off the freeway, but in a great area. Easy access back to freeway.

Great Place to stay if you are a Fresno State Parent

The Front Desk Agent was helpful and pleasant. WE will return for sure... Great location for parents of Fresno State Student.

Pick the Piccadilly because of location

A mean man greeted us at the counter and set the tone of the stay. The hotel felt poorly managed and the grounds need some care. Stay because of the location to Fresno State. It is right across the street so visiting our college kids is a snap. We were there on a weekend and the hotel was quiet. TV’s were out of date and small.....had two shower heads although the pressure being low made me ask why? 1/2 of a little water pressure isn’t better with 2 shower heads. I don’t believe there is any room service....at least we couldn’t find it. But the black angus is onsite so our food needs were met. We just checked out on the TV so we wouldn’t have a nice day ruined by a grump old man.

A tad overpriced

This hotel was in a good location if you need to be right next to the college, but keep in mind that could mean more noise if you have kids. We were woken up at about 1 a.m. by LOUD music in a neighboring parking lot, so I would ask for a pool facing room. Also, these beds look suspiciously full size, not queen as advertised. And sadly the beds look a little worse for wear (they were very hard and had big sagging divots in them from heavy use). Honestly, if you charge so much for your rooms, maybe you can afford to buy new beds, hmm? The pool was refreshing and clean as well as surprisingly deep at a full 8 feet! Overall it was okay for a quick stop.

This hotel is right off of Shaw, which has many nice (expensive) places to eat if you have the inclination.

Modest stay

The room was clean with great air conditioning. Great location, right next door to two good restaurants. Quiet. Small exercise room, but clean.

Well located to Fresno State University.

Not impressed.

Old school. Looks the same as when I lived in Fresno on the 80’s. Adjacent to a loud apartment complex - with cars and motorcycles entering and exiting at all hours. Staff was overly friendly and tried to be helpful, but unfortunately they do not have a decent property to work with.

If you do choose to stay here, get an internally facing room. Rooms facing the parking lot are very noisy.

Piccadilly Inn changed Fresno from negative to positive experience

Fresno has NOT been my favorite destination but this time we stayed at the Piccadilly University and found the hotel very, very nice. It made a huge difference to us in having a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay in a city that is not tops in terms of destinations... I highly recommend the Piccadilly. We were really pleased.

The Crossroads R&B Club is a nice space but in a bad area and doesn’t have really good energy as a venue for live music. Would not recommend.

Excellent choice

I have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting CSU Fresno on business. It has always been great. Excellent amenities. Huge, comfortable rooms. Helpful and courteous professional staff; clean, well-maintained. Outstanding breakfast buffet.

Very clean and nice hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and nice. Great location next to Marie Calendars, Jamba Juice and right down the street from Fresno State where we needed to go.

Great Location

Great location! Walked one block to the FSU Football Stadium - no parking hassles. Adjacent to restaurant and 24 hr fast food. Clean and Quiet.

Extremely Nice Local Hotel Chain

Once again the Piccadilly Inn provided another excellent stay. I have stayed at a Piccadilly Inn numerous times (at the hotels other facilities as well) and I have always found the service, rooms and staff excellent. For the price paid, it is a great place to stay!

Best value in Fresno

Clean, comfortable rooms at an excellent price! Good location by Cal State Fresno, with a hot breakfast, why go anywhere else?

Staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Grounds were well maintained, clean, and neat. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again and would recommend to friends/family.

It was quiet

The hotel was clean and the front desk staff were very helpful when we ask questions. The hotel was located close to many shopping centers and restaurants as well as being close to Fresno State University.
