Classic Parisienne yet modern
This hotel offers clean, modern, spacious (by Paris standards) rooms and a very attractive lobby reception area. Room facing the street was great but expect to take the metro or bus to sightsee, this is a beautiful but residential Parisienne neighborhood. The staff is helpful and you can request a coffeemaker for your room, buy Brioche etc. and save on breakfast if you like. There is a supermarket and bakery just off Place Marchal Juin at the corner. Enjoy! Bistro du 17 est tres bien avec une boutielle vin compris.

could have been better
The hotel was quaint and close to metro (about 2 blocks). The staff was friendly enough, spoke some English, and understood my French. The air conditioning was not cold enough. We were hot the entire trip. The beds left a bit to be desired but who goes to Paris to sleep? LOL The bathrooms are quite different from what we were used to...had to step up (pretty high) to get into shower. In our first room there was no shower curtain and the shower head was laying in the bottom of the tub because the holder was broken. In the second room we had it was all correct. I would use this hotel again but not in summer, as I need my cold air conditioning! The metro is in the same round and it only took about 20 minutes to go to any feature we wanted to see from there. Make sure when you purchase your tickets that you use the metro entrance in fromt of the cafe and not the one in the building that sells the tickets. We got on the wrong train and ended up way up North and wasting some time...but we enjoyed it. Just trying to save you some time and aggravation.
This hotel is in a neighborhood, nice and quiet and non English speaking. They do not try to understand your English. They have a Mc Donald’s a few blocks away and the restuarants in the next round over are really good.
