Very Enjoyable
Stayed in the renovated portion -- the room was nicely decorated with balcony facing mountain view. Only a couple of minutes walk to Lake Louise. My wife was especially pleased that I did my homework to stay in this hotel. The only complaint is that when we were waiting to be seated for dinner in the restaurant, none of the waiters/waitresses seemed to see us for quite a long time!!! So we left the restaurant and brought this issue to the hotel manager’s attention.

RUSTIC CHARM
Incredible location for the price- right next door to Fairmont Lake Louise- and no other buildings or hotels nearby. The hotel building and garden is lovely-inside probably needs updating but is perfectly fine. Lounge is beautifully rustic with big fire place and a good place to relax with a pot of tea and chat with fellow guests. You can imagine what vacationing in this area was like in the twenties when the hotel was built. View of Victoria Glacier from dining room and patio hot tub. Good food in the dining room.
