I left my heart in San Diego
The Embassy Suites hotel in La Jolla is in the business district, and within walking distance of a mall and PF Changs. Every morning, the hotel offers a fabulous made to order breakfast. There is also a free happy hour everyday at 5:30 pm. The hotel staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. There’s a hotel workout room, pool and business center. I highly recommend this hotel.
The only down side of staying at the Embassy Suites hotel in La Jolla is the parking garage fee of $19 per day. If you can, park on the street next to the garage, and save some money.

A few nice perks
They supply a very nice breakfast and a "happy hour" of free drinks every night. My father loved that part! Rooms are quite spacious. Overall, a great place to be.

Parking
They charged per day for parking and the parking garage was very hard to navigate. Also, no elevator in the parking garage.
