nice and comfortable

We enjoyed the hotel. It’s very clean and the staff is so friendly and happy to make your stay as satisfying as possible. Our only disappointment was the beach is not as close to the hotel as some claim it was. We were told myrtle beach was three miles from the hotel. So not true! (although it’s not extremely far from the beach). I wouldn’t try walking. Other than that, we enjoyed it and we would go back.

Across the street from the hotel is a shopping center. Nice places to eat and shop are right at your feet.

Good option

Nice location near Tanger Outlets. Price was reasonable for quality. Service at front desk was slow and fairly poor, but the condition of the room/hotel was good for the price.

Toothbrush???

I realize that I forgot to bring my own toothbrush and that is my fault. But when I went to the front desk to ask for one they did not have any behind the desk. The clerk at the desk said that he would have one sent up to my room. That never happened, I never even got a call to let me know they did not have any. I went back later and all the guy said was that they do not have any. I know it is not the biggest deal but I was not happy about the situation. I eventually just went to a grocery store and bought one.

Overpriced

I am not sure what the queen or king rooms look like, however, I stayed in a two double bed room. At first, I booked a smoking room, IT STUNK REAL BAD, the air conditioning unit looked like something that should have been in the trash. One of the drawers had rotten food in it from someone who had stayed there before me. GROSS. So, I changed rooms to non-smoking. The non-smoking room was better. It had a refrigerator, and microwave. YAY. The air conditioner unit was not bad at all. The shower room was cramped though. Not like your typical hotel room where the bathroom is huge. Far from hugh. The shower door didnt function properly. There were food stains on counter tops (I think their housekeeping is not thorough). The window (in both rooms) didn’t slide open properly. It was like pulling teeth. Finally, whatever air freshener they use stinks really bad. If you stay for over a day, I would recommend leaving housekeeping a note asking them not to spray. I feel that it was overpriced for several reasons listed above. I will not stay there again.

For some reason, the coffee pot in the room was never cleaned by housekeeping and the coffee was only provided one time out of 4 nights. The breakfast area was very tight, but they do have that great waffle maker.

Convenient location to Tangers Outlet stores

The hotel staff are helpful. Rooms are not large, but have a desk. The rooms have a very small area for hanging clothes. Ask for room with a bathtub if that is important. Some rooms have only showers.
