Decent for the price
Much better than the Howard Johnson’s a short distance away!!! Clean, friendly, and indoor pool/hot tub. Would have been a bit better with an in-room microwave and/or mini refridgerator, but made due with the microwave in the lobby. The wi-fi reception was AWFUL and I was just on the 2nd floor. But other than that, it was a nice stay, especially for the price!

The good and the bad
This was the second time we had stayed at this motel, and over all it is a good value because of the indoor pool which I need for health reasons. The first night the hot tub was just cold, but the pool was as hat as a hot tub. I mentioned this to the desk clerk, and the pool was a little cooler each night. The hot tub was never heated. The breakfast was meager to say the least. Toaster waffles and bread for toasting, coffee, juice, and a few apples. Cereal was available but no milk to put on it. Since there was no fridge or microwave in room, we could not supplement breakfast fare there. Fortunately there is a really good breakfast buffet down the road at a reasonable price. The outside door nearest our room was out of kilter; we could go in that way but not out. The staff was friendly, and as it is more affordable than other area motels with indoor pools, we will probably stay there again when visiting in the cooler months. I just wish they would attend to fixing the little things that would make it a more outstanding stay.
Black Dog Salvage to shop or just to look across the bridge from Grandin Village area. This is a place I have to go back, couldn’t see everything the first time.
