Convenient for families touring DC
We weren’t pleased that the pool was only open after 3pm - we enjoy swimming early and the breakfast selection was underwhelming (it got better into our week, after some discussion with mgt) but the price was right and the service was great.

Convenient to Dulles Airport and the Udvar-Hazy Museum
The Extended Stay Deluxe is just south of Dulles Airport and very close to the Udvar-Hazy Museum. It was clean and comfortable. They have a complimentary coffee and bagel breakfast at 6:30 AM. Price was competitive. The only negative was there is no airport pickup and cab fare in the area is very, very expensive ($22 from the airport).

Good location and features
I used this hotel during the Memorial Day weekend. The area’s roads had little traffic during the weekend,so it was a superb base for visiting both downtown DC and the civil war battlefields west of DC in Virginia. The suite type room was comfortable, quiet and well appointed and there was a good choice of restaurants nearby.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
DC’s Metered street parking spaces were free on Sunday and public holidays.Spaces fill early and quickly so either get there early or park outside and use the subway.
