Still Great

We still love staying here - the staff is great, the beach & pool areas are very nice, the food wonderful, and the rooms are comfortable. We did note that they no longer have in-room coffee, scales (no big loss), or little bottles of water. The former is missed as I am a major coffee junkie, the latter two are not a big deal.

The Perfect Hotel, Family Friendly

We’ve stayed twice at the Ritz in Palm Beach and we plan to keep going back! The hotel has 2 large pools and a private beach. The service is second to none and the decor is beautiful. We have two small children and they love staying at this hotel. There is a warm, family atmosphere, which you might not expect if you’ve never stayed at a Ritz Carlton but it truly is a perfect stay for the entire family.

Summer Break in Palm Beach

Very nice hotel...great location--you can walk right onto the beach. Staff was courteous and accomodating. Will be going back.

The public beach is next door to this Ritz and has a restaurant called the Dune Deck next door--it great, low cost food and service breakfast and lunch and has a full bar. All cash but you can save a lot of money on meals. Drinks are expensive at the Ritz ($20) for glass of house wine). A supermarket (Publix) is near the hotel--pick up a bottle of wine.

Great and Relaxing Stay

We stayed for the July 4th weekend and couldn’t have had a better time. Resort is both romantic yet very family friendly (we travelled with our daughter and saw many other kids at the hotel). Location is right on the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms (and resort in general) is clean, modern, comfortable and elegant. We will definitely return.

Traveler's tip on shopping

Lots of shopping malls in the area (within 30 minutes drive) with high end stores (Louis Vuitton, Chanel, etc..) and regular department stores. You will definitely need to rent a car or otherwise use taxi cabs for just about everything.

Not the best Ritz

Though I’d probably go back if the rates were really low, I was disappointed that the women’s bathroom for the pool area was not well maintained. The sink did not put out water, and at times the floors remained wet and sandy for long periods. Also, they ran out of hand towels for trying to get the soap off your hands. The brunch at the Orange restaurant was great, but dinner there was disappointing.

Beach was great...restaurants were downfall

Room was standard Ritz style; clean and comfy seating. Loved the ocean-view balcony! Beach was off-putting at first, since the entrance to the public beach is right next to the Ritz and people walk, sit, swim on the "Ritz beach". However, beach itself is great for walking and looking at homes along the way (in either direction). Lots of shells, pebbles, and interesting things washed up on shore. Water was fine, although rocky in front of hotel which made getting further out a little tricky. Hotel’s beach service was spotty - no one offered umbrellas or chair set up (I did the chairs myself, not a big deal but would have been nice to be helped). Food/drink service on beach also not great - had to seek them out at lunch time. Biggest reason I wouldn’t return is that there’s nothing within walking distance of the hotel, except an ice cream shop and 1 steak house across the street. Typically, I like to go to various local restaurants but there were none around; also, couldn’t buy snacks anywhere except the hotel gift shop... That was frustrating and very expensive and is the only reason I would think twice before returning. The other top notch hotel in Palm Beach (historic & site of society events) has a supermarket and several restaurants within a 10 min walk, so that’s better for me.

Bring your own snacks!!! Walk down the beach (to the right) for views of houses, yards, etc.

I can’t think of anyone who would not be extremely pleased. The service is exceptional!!!

Great Family vacation spot

The Ritz Carlton Palm Beach staff does a great job. My faily spent six nights here over Easter break and both kids and adults were pleased. My wife especialy enjoyed the Spa.

What service!!!!!

The staff is obviously very well trained. Every employee is pleasant. Our stay was extremely enjoyable. The property is small enough that you are not walking for ever to get to restuarants or amenities. Overall worth the money and a Joy.

Poor service and average food

Very inconsistent service. Had to wait 30 minutes for water at dinner and other items on multiple occasions. Food choices sub par and quality very below what was expected. Housekeeping inconsistent.

Outstanding in every respect

This hotel gave us the best of everything. We had great food, service and comfort while enjoying our 25th wedding anniversary and the staff was exceptional qualified and kind.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Make sure that while at the Ritz that you experience the joy of the sunrise. Get up early and take a walk on the beach and then return to the greatest breakfast on the coast of Florida.
