More than I expected
Two women each with two kids on this trip. Front desk saw this and moved our rooms to the main building for added safety which was very thoughtful. We were held up in the airport for hours upon arrival and were pleasantly surprised to see the hotel driver had stayed/waited for us and not abandoned us. In the car we were given cold water and nice cold washcloths to clean up with. This was the attention to detail that was followed for the entire stay. Customer service and keeping guests happy was top priority and evident. Hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient without being in your face. The tip is collective (which gives all the incentive to work hard) and given in an envelope upon check out. My only psuedo complaint was about my massage at the Ayurveda Spa on site. It was not what I expected. The spa is gorgeous, I just think the massage was not what one typically gets.
Traveler's tip on dining
We booked full board which is definitely worth it, as there are no real off site places to eat that could compare, especially if you have young children and are at all concerned about gasto. Buffet or a la carte with a maximum limit on the a la carte which you don’t come close to reaching. Does not include room service. It does include boxed lunches should you plan in advance. It will be packed and ready for you to take with you on your excursion.
