Perfect location
We arrived early but staff very accomadating,taking care of our bags & suggesting we relax upstairs and have a refreshment. Seemed more like a B&B. Felt very comfortable. Room felt like it was "leaning" (not level). If you put something on the sink at faucet, it fell into the sink. But, all was good. Great time. Suggestion: request canal view. GREAT LOCATION..Would definitely return.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Great location. Of course, don’t miss St. Peters Square. We did the Doges Palace. Loved it. Many places to just sit and have a drink or snack. Pizza shops everywhere and wonderful. Suggestion: take water taxi and visit more than just this area.

Not up to par
The location is great. However,the room we were given (#105)was missing the doorknob and would not lock. We were given another room only because we insisted and said we refused to stay in a room that was not secure. The room we were given was smaller and the window opened onto a brick wall. Some of the staff was very helpful and some not so helpful. For the money paid we will look for another hotel on our next stay in Venice.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Take the time to go to the Island of Burano. It is worth the hour boat ride there. The lace shops and museum, down to earth little eating places, and the colorfully painted houses all in a row along the canal make this a very nice 1/2 - to full day trip.

Great location
Nice, small hotel in central location. Great views of the Grand Canal and Rialto bridge from front rooms and salon. Plenty to do in that area.
