Hilton Dubai Creek

Not Impressed

Internet did not work. Wireless internet also did not work. This grossly affected my stay. The gym was too small, had 3 types of machines in it.For the price of this hotel, the facilities in it where just not worth it.

Good Business Hotel

This is a small Hilton. Like so many hotels in Dubai it is "new" and eager to please. As a Hilton Gold member I was upgraded to a junior suit...so the room was obviously nice.. view OK..on the Creek Side. Pool is very small, Executive lounge was large. Being in Dubai during Ramadan means that the Iftar, ending of the daily gave an opportunity to have an excellent Arabic dinner. Good business hotel... very near to the Airport. Staff was very helpfull. Just realize that this is one of the smaller luxury hotels with only 2 restuarants...so if you want more variety you have to go out by taxi to other hotels.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Take the "Big Bus" tour(s) and see everything worth seeing in two days. It is an "on and off" tour so you can get off where you like.

Excellent service and easy taxi ride to most sites in Dubai

My wife and I stayed here and the room was very nice. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We had a nice view of the creek and the Dubai skyline. Taxi service was reasonable and relatively short distance from most sites in Dubai. I would definitely recommend to others.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

If you have time, take the 4x4 desert dune ride. It’s better than an amusement park ride! Also, go see the indoor ski resort -- even if you don’t ski, it’s an impressive sight.

Excellent Service

The service is excellent! They allowed us to check in early and extented the check out time per my request. However, the room I got was so close to the next building that I had to curtain the windows all the time.

Excellent Hotel

Good and very friendly service, overall a very good experience. The bar at the ground level is not recommended. Bad service, expensive and the quality of the drinks/coctails is bad.

An excellent hotel, good location

I chose this hotel because I wanted a top grade hotel in a good location by the Dubai Creek and not too far from the airport as we were only staying one night. As it happened we had a creekside view over the Dhow wharfage on the 13th executive floor just below the rooftop pool. A brilliant view over the city and along the creek to the gulf. The room was very comfortable with slippers and dressing gowns provided. Check-in & out was very smooth & efficient & the staff were very helpful. Dinner in the Glasshouse restaurant was very good with plenty of choice & good service. Definitely a chrome & marble hotel & unfortunately my wife now knows the type of bathroom she wants at home. The only negative point was that they ran out of hot water for 30 mins, too many people showering at once I guess.

Top quality hotel, as you would expect with the Hilton name, 10-15 mins by taxi from the airport. Close to the gold souk and with a nice walk along Dubai Creek. Easy access to the water taxis to cross the creek.

Stayed 6 nights at the end of Ramadan and beginning of Eid in October 2008. Great staff and service. Will stay again in 2009.

Best value in the heart of Dubai.

The Hilton Dubai Creek was close enough to downtown Dubai but not to close to be effected by daily traffic. You should make arrangements for a taxi to come and pick you up or you’ll be waiting for a long time for one to come. We had a big room with a view of Dubai Creek. You can see the small dow (ships) docked at the side of the creek. Laundry service was great...within one day... Breakfast was and event with lots of choices... The staff were ready to help and was always smiling. Great attitude! While in Dubai take the Desert Safari Tour, most fun you’ll have in the desert!!!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

1. Taxi: don’t pay more that what the meter indicates and have the front desk call you a taxi. 2. Take the City Tour on the first day so that you know where to shop for just about what ever you like. Come back later to shop at your own time. 3. Desert Safari: A must for everyone who visit Dubai. Offroad excursion, camel rides, sunset in the dunes, henna tatoos, food and belly dancing...and many more all in one ticket prices. 4. Dow Cruise is you are a couple.

The true meaning of a five star hotel

The hotel exceeded my expectation. The rooms are very large with large marble bathrooms. The view of the creek at night time was magnificent. The service is exceptional with top of the line food. Overall, my experience was great and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful view

Wonderful view of Dubai Creek and the fising boats. Not too far form the airport or the shopping malls. Nice and quiet. Good service good food.

Very nice hotel next to the Creek. Good place to start trips in Dubai. Nice view to the skyline of Dubai from on pool bar at the 15th floor.

excellent except for bathrooms

rooms were very modern, but comfortable; would definitely stay there again. only problem is the bathroom lighting. as a woman, could not apply makeup, etc. aside from that, terrific

Short stay, good choice

I stayed recently for 3 nights at the Dubai Creek Hilton. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, willing to help in any way. Check-in was brief and the room was wonderful. A front room (good ones to choose) with great view of the Creek where there was always action with the dhow activity. Great view of the other side of the city and skyline especially at dusk. Very close to the airport (goodness, they even have women drivers now for females!) I was very satisfied with the hotel though did not use all the facilities such as the pool, massage, and the Verre restaurant. Taxis were easy to get to other areas of the city and all on meters with a reasonable price. Traffic congestion due to endless construction in the city. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but fine. Well worth a stay.

Get a room at the front facing the creek. It’s not noisy and a great view.
