Comfortable bargain
I stayed two nights at Barclay Inn. I enjoyed the surrounding amenities (a nice Kroger across the street, good restaurants very close and the town of Birmingham). The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and I had my own refrigerator. Service was excellent. Though there are two busy streets, the noise did not bother me at all. I will stay there again.

Affordable in Birmingham
All the convenience of a Birmingham address without the high price tag. Clean, comfortable rooms with a great breakfast buffet and decent gym (one of the few I’ve found with free weights and cardio machines in budget hotels).
Traveler's tip for business travelers
Kroger foodstore right across the street, three-minute walk from charming downtown Birmingham (shops, restaurants, movie theater, etc), easy access to all northern suburbs of Detroit, nearby shopping mall in Troy, fantastic walking/running trails a short drive away in Cranbrook.

Pleasant place to stay in a very attractive suburb of Detroit. Easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants.
