great location, renovated
I’ve stayed here a few times, and it is much nicer since the renovation. The location is great, just off rt 287 with easy access to NJ turnpike, rt 1, Parkway, train to NYC (Metropark or Metuchen), Newark airport. Rooms very comfortable. Diner across the street so-so but convenient. Bakery across rt 27 also. Good value for star rating.

Excellent Hotel
I had just come back from Atlantic City after a horrible stay at the Tropicana Hotel. The Tropicana room was old and dirty and the hotel staff was no help... When I got the Crowne Plaza I was so relieved to get such a nice updated clean room. The staff couldn’t have been nicer... the room was at a perfect temperature for a hot day and we had a little gift on the edge of our bed....who knew I would have a better time in Edison, NJ then in Atlantic City, NJ... Thanks Crowne Plaza... PS - a pool would be nice.....

POOR MANAGEMENT
1. NO SHAMPOO IN BATH; 2. BURNED OUT LIGHTBULB IN OBVIOUS PLACE UPON ARRIVAL AND UPON DEPARTURE TWO DAYS LATER; 3. HALLS IN MIDDLE OF RENOVATION AND IN TERRIBLE CONDITION; 4. BREAKFAST ORDERED AT 6:45 WHEN THERE WERE FOUR OTHER GUESTS IN RESTAURANT HAD NOT ARRIVED BY 7:25 WHEN WE DEPARTED; 5. ONE (THAT’S RIGHT, ONE) TV CHANNEL AVAILABLE.
