It’s Aces in Portland
The Ace is a cute, kitsch boutique hotel slap-dab in the middle of Portland’s Pearl District. It has a Royal Tenenbaums feel to it and great amenities including an internet library, Stumptown Coffee an amazing restaurant Clyde Common. It is also conveniently located in next to Kenny & Zuke’s Deli. Suffice it to say you could have a grand ol’ time without even leaving the building but if you opt to get out and about. You don’t have to go far to hit the shops around the pearl, take in a move or take on a yoga class at Yoga Pearl.

Will definitely go back!
We stayed at the Ace based on recommendation from my 20-something son. The hotel definitely attracts the younger age group, but we felt totally comfortable as 50-somethings! We selected a standard room with shared bath to save some money. We had never done that before but we never had to wait to use the bathroom and would definitely do it again! The hotel has such great character and the rooms and bathrooms were spotless and staff very helpful. The hotel is great location between downtown and Pearl District.

We had a room on top floor, back and would recommend this for quieter sleep.

Good Hotel
I knew we’d have to share a hotel room, but when we got there and there was only one bathroom on the floor I was worried. However, the bathroom was always available to us with no hassel.
