NO HOT WATER and nobody cared

Checked into hotel late with my mother (her first vacation in years). The front desk person was not helpful or friendly. We carry all our baggage in and get settled. No hot water....then the door lock is broken, but one lock works. Nobody cared at the front desk. In the morning up at 4 am. Still NO hot water. The front desk did nothing. I do not recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel, clean, more than comfortable, and nice service at the front desk. It was a very short, overnight stay.

THE HOTEL WAS IN GOOD CONDITION A LITTLE DATED. THE GYM EQUIPMENT WAS VERY OLD AND DID NOT LOOK VERY SAFE. I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE HOTEL, IT DID NOT COMPARE TO THE PRICE THAT I PAID FOR THE ROOM, I WOULD NOT RETURN TO THAT HOTEL..

Not impressed

The beds were sleep number beds. One bed’s control worked, but the other didn’t. The electric socket which the lamp and one of the sleep number beds was connected was dangling from the wall. We paid for a non-smoking room and it reeked of smoke as did the hallway. Definitely not worth the price. Would not choose to stay there again.

A little disappointed in their shuttle service.

We didn’t get into the airport until after 12 midnight and therefore had to take a cab to the hotel. I have stayed at that hotel numerous times and never been told that they didn’t have a shuttle after midnight. I was very disappointed.

Very disappointed

The staff was helpful but that is about the only thing this hotel has going for it. The picture kept going from black and white to color, the wallpaper on the walls was peeling, the restaurant was horrible and the bed had bed bugs.

Not impressed

Hotel was just ok. I did not like that they charged for a breakfast that was small in variety and not really good, and most hotels that I have visited provide a better breakfast for free! The available cable channels were few as well.

Hotel is in need of an update of both sturcture and staff. The check in process took 30 minutes because of a printer issue or computer glitch depending upon who was telling me the story. Air conditioner in the room leaked water all over the floor and the shower/tub would not drain. Also, the toilet had a leak and would constantly run. Not annoying but just another defect. I was there for an event and could not get another room as they stated they were booked. Breakfast buffet was average. Unless you have to, I would recommend to try another hotel.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location near the airport and KCI Convention center.

Very Nice

The hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Booking on Expedia allowed us to leave our car there without a parking charge. We were promptly delivered and picked up at the airport. Very convenient.

It was a good hotel.

They need better food in the hotel for dinner, but the breakfast is good. They have sleep number beds that are really old. I have one at home and know what to expect, but people thinking about purchasing one would probably think again , if they only used the ones at this Raddisson.

Don’t waste time eating dinner at hotel go south on I29 a few miles to some good pplaces to eat.

Needs to be updated a bit and cleaned a little better but the people are very nice and helpful.

Hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The hotel is a bit older, but my room was clean and comfortable. Overall a nice hotel with outstanding service.

Maintenance issues

I screened for a hotel with a pool and hot tub, but neither of these were open due to maintenance issues. The outside door near my room was apparently an entry used by employees (and guests)who began arriving early. The door would not fully close and the door closer was broken. By its appearance it had been broken for some time. Beginning very early in the morning the banging began with the passage of each individual through that door. I think deferred maintenance is absolutely unacceptable when you choose a nice hotel. I would not stay at a Radisson again.

This hotel had a very good rating on Expedia. Next time I will phone ahead and ask if the ammenities that I am willing to pay extra for such as the pool and spa are operational.

Raw, raw, raw

I have stayed at other Radisson Hotels and have had no complaints until now. My first complaint was when I ordered room service where my daughter and I had raw chicken breast and my friend who received raw shrimp. Seeing as how we had paid for 4 meals and 18% gratuity we were expecting a warm meal. It was neither warm or cooked. After we had complained they gave us a 15% discount and new dinners. The upsetting part was the ticket was not fixed by the time we checked out. Secondly my nephew and daughter found 3 empty bottles of mini jack daniels under our bed. I was not impressed at all.

Not Impressed

I placed a wake-up call and the front desk called ten minutes pass the time I wanted. I was late for my departure flight because the free shuttle provided by the hotel was late due to the fact the driver was eating breakfast. The heat in the room did not work.
