Good Location in Greenwood
This inn is in a convient location and was as nice as most chain motels.

Breakfast lacking
If you frequent HIX for the breakfast as well as the nice rooms, you may want to skip this one. The breakfast attendant began to close down the breakfast bar 15 minutes before it was supposed to close. The first morning, there was one omelet left and no bacon or sausage, with 8 people waiting to be served. The next two mornings, there were no hot eggs or breakfast meat. The only warm breakfast, except for instant oatmeal or grits, was gravy and biscuits. Our room was nice, but we were disappointed in the service and quality of the breakfast.

PARTY NEXT DOOR!
We traveled to SC from TX for a funeral and booked our stay at Holiday Inn Express through Expedia. After an exhausting trip, the funeral and family gathering, we returned to the hotel to people (most under 21)in the meeting room, with the door open to the parking lot, loud music, drinking and vomit in the parking lot (almost stepped in it). Unfortunately, our room was on the 1st floor, next to the meeting room. After Midnight, we had to call the police because management and the owner could not (or would not) deal with it. Apparently, the meeting room was traded for work provided to the hotel/owner. Very disappointing end to a very sad day.
