nice room over all
We had two rooms for three nights. Rooms are large, equipped with a stove and frig. The location of the hotel is not close to tourist attractions but close to buses and Metro. There are a lot of restaurants near by. Be aware, many businesses are closed during the afternoon hours. Normal dinner time is from 8pm to 1am. We arrived early in the morning when the rooms are not ready. But the stuff on duty was very helpful. He stored our luggage and then gave us a map and directions to public transportation and attractions. The only complain that we had was loud street noises during the night. Our rooms are at first level (which is one level above the ground level). I woke up in the middle of the night two out of three days by loud conversations and laughs from people on the street. The noise last long till about 3am. That were Friday and Saturday nights though.
Traveler's tip
Be aware of pocket pickers at the bus and Metro stations. Two times in one day I felt hands in my pocket. Fortunately I noticed the hands early before reaching my wallet. But I still lost about 30 Euro that I left outside of my wallet.

A mixed bag
Nice, clean hotel close to a metro stop. But the service was quite bad, and a number of things they claim are misleading. For example, we had 4 rooms for our group and not all had kitchens as promised. There also was no "free glass of cava" as claimed and indeed the front desk personnel were less than friendly. The elevator from the garage didn’t work and the employees practically sneered as they stood around watching us struggle to get our bags up the stairs.

Nice hotel for the price
While a bit off the beaten path for most tourist attractions, this hotel is a great value. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was large (the layout is that of a modest apt.) and the neighborhood is very nice with plenty of shops and cafes. My only complaint is that the room smelled a little smokey. We had requested a non-smoking room, but apparently the smoke smell is left over from a time when the hotel was more smoker friendly. After opening the windows it was much less noticeable.
