The pictures are accurate!
I have never been to Monterey or Carmel, let alone Pacific Grove, CA. Not only was the vacation romantic, scenic and peaceful, this hotel helped us sleep well at night. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable and although we never used the jacuzzi, it was a nice option to have! The location of this hotel is so great... the Asilomar beach is right there, a golf course and a light house. How cute! The pictures posted are accurate and maybe don’t do this place justice... it is nice and you won’t be disappointed. We lit the fireplace, but it was connected to a ticking timer, so it really didn’t create a soothing atmosphere. And that is my only complaint!
Traveler's tip on dining
Go to Fresh Cream in Monterey for a fantastic french dinner. Great view, location, food and service. The manager there is friendly and welcoming. We weren’t dressed for a fancy dinner, which I regret but we couldn’t have felt more comfortable or at home at Fresh Cream. PS- they have won some major awards that I can’t remember, but the list was extensive.

Nicely renovated rooms
We came for a weekend and had a wonderful time. The rooms are spacious and decorated nicely. We would visit again.

Great and clean room
the room was beautiful and very comfortable. Everything was brand new. The only downfall was that the shower is a "rain" shower and the pressure was not that spectacular- kind of slow. Service was great! Their "continental breakfast" could use some expanding; they just had toast, muffins, coffee and OJ- that’s it.
