A clean Hotel with a great staff, a magnificent pool and swimming in the Mediteranean Sea
We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is older, but well maintained. Our room was booked thru Expedia and we had an Oceanfront room with incredible views from Vesuvius to Capri. The on-site restaurant had terrific service and the food was expensively delicious! We had informative conversations with the English speaking staff who extended every courtesy and told us everything we needed to know. The two elevators down to the beach led us to a magnificent European setting with our choice of several chaise lounge areas on the Sea. The in-ground pool and terrace was absolutely breath-taking!
Traveler's tip on dining
For us, travel has a lot to do with tasting the local foods. No problems anywhere in Italy. Rick Steves cautioned us about raw shell-fish. You can drink water from the public fountains in Rome. Downtown Sorrento was too far to walk from Parco de Principi so we took a cab. There were free trolleys to the sea side ferry terminal to Capri (dont miss Capri!). Ask the concierge for dining recommendations. They are ALL good!

A View to Die For
We visited this hotel in early November. This hotel is one of the best in Sorrento. It sits on a cliff and overlooks Naples Bay with views of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvious. The staff was friendly. The hotel is a little out of the center of town, but the hotel has shuttles every 1/2 hour to get you back and forth. I would stay here again and again! The rooms are spacious for European rooms and the hotel has a gym, spa and pool.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Take the time to see Pompeii and the Amalfi coast..I think some of the most beautiful coastline in Europe.

Everything about the hotel is a 10 except the people at the front desk....they were rude and not helpful at all. I would go back to the hotel...beautiful gardens and wonderful location on the sea...
Traveler's tip on dining
