Most pleasant stay in Ireland
Of the 4 hotels I stayed at during my trip to Ireland, the stay at this hotel was the most pleasant. The staff were very helpful and courteous. My room had a little balcony that looked out onto a wooded area. The one minor issue that I had was that the room was specifically booked for 3 people (and charged an additional person rate), but they had not provided the additional robe, cups, etc. in the room. It was quickly rectified, however.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The hotel is located on the outskirts of Newtownmountkennedy, which has virtually no restaurants or pubs, and the one we ate at had the worst food we had eaten during our 9 day stay in Ireland. However, the hotel is conveniently located near Powerscourt Gardens, which are very pretty.
