Friendliness of staff made the difference, they were awesome!
Great place for kids! Food was excellent! Kids pool a real plus......only negative was beach area has been damaged by hurricane a few years ago. Overall I would give it a great rating.

Wish we were still there
Getting off the shuttle and being greeted with cool towels and champagne--and then the whole experience got even better. The rooms are fine--comfortable beds, whirlpools, chairs and hammock on the deck, and friendly cats to make you feel at home. We were there for 5 nights and enjoyed them all. Food looks limited with two restaurants, but we only ate the same thing if we wanted. Pool is fine--beach access is available with a 5 minute walk. This is a place for relaxing, not night life, and our 13 year old son would have liked a little more activity--nights are very quiet here--they should leave the pool open at nights. Tours can be arranged and purchased on site--we did Chichen-Itza, Tulum and Xcaret--take the kids to Xcaret. Overall--loved it.

Best Vacation ever
We spent our 40th wedding anniversary at Xpu-Ha Palace and it was the very best anniversary trip we have taken. As soon as we got home, my husband was on line telling Everyone about our trip. We are already planning a return trip with our family.

Book a stay at this Palace resort and receive the following after arrival:
At time of booking, when indicating traveler and room preferences, guests must enter "Honeymooners" in the Special Requests box to receive this promotion.
After checking in, honeymooning couples will be directed to the honeymoon desk where staff will welcome them and help reserve their candlelight dinner. The other amenities will be delivered to their room.
