Easy going - convenient close to the Mall
I was looking for a place close to the mall to stay overnight on a weekend trip to San Jose. The price is a bit high and propably there are other options close by but no other international brand available.

Don’t believe the free shuttle!
We stayed here back in October 2008 & set up the free shuttle service the night before we left. The wrote down our name, etc in their book. We came down 3 minutes late, literally 3 minutes after 9 am. The shuttle was just pulling out & they wouldn’t radio them to stop them or call them back. I asked them why they didn’t call me room or anything?? They had nothing to say. We just missed them & this is not the first time this has happened. I read another review like this at tripadvisor - same thing happened to them. So if you do take the shuttle arrive at least 5 minutes early! The hotel room also had a funny smell - like they tried to cover up smoke or something - didn’t like the smell & the rooms were older, needing updates.
