Grand Hotel Assisi
Good hotel, right outside the wall. Staff was basically incompetent. Directions that did not make sense, breakfast a bit disorganized. But the rooms were clean, and comfortable, and the hotel itself is quite new in comparison to what is available in the area.

If you have a car it’ better to drive from hotel into the city and park in public parking areas, which are plentiful and easy to find.

Grand Hotel Assisi
Good hotel with excellent location for those visiting Tuscany by car. For those using public transportation there is a shuttle to the city center that departs from a bus stop that is located approximately 50 meters away from the hotel. It has an excellent service and accommodations for Italian standards.

The hotel is out of the old town, but within walking distance of the main attractions. It has good access by car and lots of parking space. Everything else was mediocre.
