nasty! parrot behind the desk
If we hadn’t booked through expedia, upon arrival we would’ve asked for our money back. This is not a hotel I would sponser as a travel agent. Dirty towel in bathroom. Parrot behind the desk. spackled holes in walls ~ not just one hole, numerous. Hotel was not busy at all, so if in process of remodeling, why not put us in a finished room? Eventually moved us to a room not under construction, but dirty towel, not clean. NASTY!!!!!!!!! I guess you get what you pay for!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Located near lots of check cashing/dollar stores. Only close restaurant is Ponderosa. Not worth the money ~ pay a little more and get a good rest and a good meal!

For what I spent - I got my money’s worth
Clean - the A/C worked fine. Plenty of places to eat - walk out the door and right into one. The only negatives - 1) pillows were flat - bring your own- or walk over to Walmart and buy one- I did. Towel bracket in bathroom needed maintenance. Motel was far enough off the street to be quiet- the doors were thick enough, and the manager (she) was very capable. I’d stay again.

10-15 minutes to the new Lucas Oil Stadium- real convenient to the 465.

Good Value
If you are an economy traveller, this is an adequate place to stay. While the hotel itself is basic, the staff worked hard and was very accomodating. As example, when I returned one afternoon, the maid (a male) was cleaning my bathroom. He was on his knees scrubbing my bathtub. When I told him he didn’t need to do that, he just smiled and said he’d be done in a moment. Before I checked out, I bought him a Starbucks gift card.
