The cleanest hotel I have stayed at!
I travel constantly and I honestly have to say that I had the best night’s sleep at this little hotel in downtown Belleville I have had over the past few years. Why? First, because the air was so fresh. Usually when I open the door to a hotel room I am either bombarded with a perfumy type smell that has been used to mask either mold, pets, or people smoking in what is supposed to be a non-smoking room. This room smelled fresh and the air that came through the air conditioning unit also brought in clean air. Second, the room was very clean. Third, they had great pillows and bedding and very comfortable beds. Fourth, breakfast went until about 10:00 and getting late check out was no problem. Finally, the owners and staff were very friendly. (This by the way is the first time I have ever written a review about a hotel! It was that good!)

nice staff but bring your own sheets
The staf was excellent but the rooms were dirty. I went out and bought sheets and cleaning supplies for the bathroom.
