Affordable Convenience
The Super 8 is affordable and convenient. It is close to the airport and getting to the freeways from the motel is very easy. The rooms are clean and have adequate appointments. The Des Moines Airport Super 8 is good choice for those traveling on a budget.

Disappointed, even with the low price
This was a cheap, convenient place for us to stay, but they refused to give us more than 1 pillow...it wasn’t their policy, and they would not do it no matter what I offered in return. I grew up in the Des Moines area and was braggin up Midwest Hospitality prior to this...Very disappointing.

It was OK
It was an OK place to stay for one night. Very close and convenient to the Des Moines airport. The hotel is difficult to see from the street - it would be nice if the sign was closer to the street, or more prominent. We were on the 2nd floor (there is no elevator). The hallway was extremely warm, stuffy, and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The air in our room, however, was fine. There was a good assortment of snack food and soft drinks available from the vending machine, which came in handy when we were trapped in the hotel by a massive thunderstorm! The breakfast was good.
