It’s what you get for the money

Due to the price I paid, I couldn’t expect the hotel to in that great of condition. However, the price tag could have been taken off the light in the bathroom. The refrigerator made noises all night and our neighbors were very loud.

Very easy to check in, rooms are clean, and easy to find close parking. Best hotel around for the price!

Traveler's tip for business travelers

Always be prepared for an unexpected accident while traveling. I recommend holding back some money in case you blow a tire or something else occurs.

Not too impressed

I asked for a nonsmoking room and the room I was given was definitely a smoking room because the bedspread had been burned with a cigarette and the room smelled like people had been smoking in the room. I haven’t smoked in 2 1/2 years, so this was NOT a good experience for me!

Better than expected

I’m not sure what the words "Super 8" conjuure in your mind, but for me they don’t always mean "clean and tidy." This is no luxury hotel; it’s just a highway motel. But it is close to the airport, right on the freeway, and well-kept. For the record, there is almost no decent food near here, with only a Waffle House in walking distance, but it’s not hard to get to Pearl or Jackson to find something, if you have a car.

Better than expected...

Property appeared to be fairly new.... close to expressway and one exit away (either direction) from anything you need.... beds great and tv was new. Great deal for the price....

If their service was good, it would be a different review

I reserved a non-smoking room. I confirmed it. But I arrived at my room to find it a smoking room, and to make a LONG story short - the clerk was NOT helpful or accommodating. He was also unclear about the shuttle, which was the only reason I stayed here (I have an early flight). The room was clean enough - but smelled so badly of smoke I kept my clothes in the suitcase in hopes of not smelling like smoke when I went to my cancer meeting (seemed in bad taste). If I had gotten the room I reserved, or if the desk clerk was helpful, this would have been a different review. I had to keep my car an extra day to ensure I can get to the airport at 5 am tomorrow. And I am NOT recommending this hotel because of the service.

Very Comfortable

For the price range, the hotel was very comfortable and well maintained. Highly recommend.

Not too bad, but nothing spectacular

For the price we paid, it was a pretty decent place. The best part was how close it was to I20. It’s actually in plain sight of the interstate. My only regret is the lack of a pool.

Did not stay here

I did not stay at this hotel due to a storm that knocked power out in the area. I was force to find a different hotel which wound up costing me nearly twice as much.

Continental Breakfast and bed

We went down at 730a and there was barely any food left and no refills were evident. I just think for it being that early, the food could have been stocked better. The bed in the room was very worn and uncomfortable.

I could not believe I was in Jackson Mississippi

I have been to a lot of Super 8s, Chicago, Champagne-Urbana, Indianapolis etc. and this was definitely one of the best if not the best. I was pleasantly surprised that this seemly small town Motel had the type of establishment that they did, it was on the scale of something that seemed as though it could only be found in a large town or city. They had an icebox and microwave in the room along whit a hair dryer and iron there was also cable TV, a coffee pot and free coffee. It was great I was more then happy with the room, the service, the cleanliness, the location to the airport, the location to Jackson and Pearl Mississippi; they even had a full FREE Continental Breakfast! I Loved it. Keep up the good work SUPER 8 in PEARL, MISSISSIPPI. Elijah Cruz Los Angeles, Calif.

Convenient

We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport (we had a 6am flight). It was clean, and we were only at the hotel long enough to sleep. We had a noisy neighbor that was keeping us from sleeping, we called the hotel clerk, and he quickly remedied the problem. Overall a clean and convenient hotel.
