Non-smoking? Really?
When I request a non-smoking room, I really do expect a room that does not smell like cigarettes. The sheets smelled like smoke, the carpet did (and had burn marks from the iron, and was lifting from the corners), the bathroom especially smelled like smoke when the shower was on and the room steamed up. The bed was uncomfortable; you could tell the mattress was old. I really felt like I was sleeping in something filthy just by the way the room smelled. The front office people were rude. I called ahead of time to confirm the non-smoking request and specify that I was allergic, and would not want any residual smell or odor (sometimes hotels are known to just take the ash tray out of a room for non-smoking guests). The man that answered the phone was not only hard to understand, but very short and very unhelpful. He didn’t let me finish my question (let alone ask it at all), and hung up abruptly before I had even received information. The muffin I had for their "free breakfast" in the morning was stale. I will not be staying at this hotel again, nor will I recommend it. I understand it was affordable, but if spending another $20-$30 a night means getting a smile in the morning upon check-out and a room that truly is non-smoking?? So be it.

Needs Upgrading and Needs to Be Cleaned
The hotel needs renovation. It also needs to be cleaned by service staff. There was dried dirty water stains on the inside of the bathtub that were never removed or cleaned. The bathtowels were awful and dirty and looked like they were being reused. The bed was not much better, I purchased two blankets and slept on them. Even after complaints nothing was done. I did not have the money to leave and go elsewhere. If I did I would have but I WILL NOT RETURN in the future.

Need to have better service
The person that checked me in was very nice, but the person that checked my husband in had a very strong accent and was difficult to understand. The heater in our room didn’t work, so we asked them to look at it while we were at dinner. We asked for another room if they weren’t able to fix it, which they were unable to do. They did give us another room, but it was smaller and they didn’t offer any kind of refund and when we went to have their continental breakfast, we we about 2 minutes late and all they offered was coffee. That was terrible disapointing, as I feel they could have offered a muffin or something. All in all, the prices were ok for the service, but we probably won’t go back.
