Good For The Price
I am a distance student at UTMB and have to go to Galveston for weekend labs a couple of times a semester. This hotel served the purpose but the internet connection, while it worked, was slow. Also, the breakfast was very basic, no protien i.e. yogourt or eggs, just muffins or cereal. For the money though this is a great deal though since while you cant see the beach, you are still within a short walk of it, and close to other local attractions such as Moody Gardens. If you’re on a budget and want a cheap place to stay at the beach, I would recommend this place.

Great Weekend Getaway
The hotel was centrally located for going to the beach during the day and going out to eat at night. It was nice to have a pool but it should have been more thoroughly cleaned. The hot tub was too filthy to even enter. Otherwise, breakfast was great and well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Very impressed, will stay again
My husband and i were on a budget for our 1 year anniversary and the price for this hotel was perfect.We’ve stayed at a Super 8 before and were not impressed,but upon entering our room we were pleasantly surprised!Recent renovations, nice decor. VERY close to beach,convenient to everything, pool was not big, but nice.Our only issue was because of the weather i guess, we had several grasshoppers in the room, but no big deal. Worth every penny!
Waffle House in front of hotel had great food. Get snacks for the fridge in your room from Walmart or Kroger for longer stays -- saves a little money. Salsa’s was great Mexican food!
