Make sure you get a receipt at check-out!!

I was charged for an overly-priced buffet breakfast on my credit card even though it was included on my reservation and they didn’t tell me at check-out and they didn’t have paper for the receipts. It takes 2-3 weeks to process a refund. I didn’t see why I had to be bothered with this problem. I had a rash on my face from the hotel bed for a day. That was not cool. I had reserved a double bed room and they ran out so they gave me a king sized bed instead.

wedding weekend

our daughter’s wedding was held here. Great service from the event coordinator and her staff. Convenient location and nice accommodations. We were very pleased with our reception and with our stay.

Breakfast

I bought the breakfast when i did my reservation in the expedia homepage. But when we got to the hotel nobody said if it was the bufet or to order, and nobody explained anything that was a little confusing.

Hotel Rating

Marriott Hotel is a great hotel to stay when traveling. It is cool, clean and comfortable. The only problem that I notice and ran into was that the maidens (cleaning crew)only provide one wash cloth for use in the bathroom. When there is more than one person in the room and using the bathroom more than one is needed. Management was informed and the problem was addressed immediately.

Very Nice!

The service was great. The room was clean and well decorated. The consigliere was knowledgable. Having forgotten my razor and toothbrush, the hotel quickly provided replacements. If I return to El Paso, this hotel will be my choice.

Awesome stay!!!

We had stayed at the hotel before and just love it. What I love is the pool (both indoor and leads to outdoor). The kids enjoyed it. I was also able to enjoy the lounge. They had karaoke and it was just a great atmosphere.

Relaxing in mind......

We went to go enjoy a weekend at the Marriott EP. just to relax and enjoy the indoor pool and jacuzzi we were not disappointed. Nice clean room good service, and if you opt in for a little more money I suggest getting the full breakfast included with your stay it is delicious and came at a great deal with the room.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Make sure to use the shuttle service if your going to be relaxing you sure don’t. want to bother with traffic. Just make sure you call enough ahead of time for the driver to arrive at a proper time.

nice stay

after reading reviews of the Camino Real, I opted to stay over at this Marriot. I am very glad I did. Wonderful service, nice room and the most comfy bed ever!

Convenience, very convenient to airport, shopping, restaurants... They also have a great room service menu. The food was great and plentiful...

El Paso

I hate El Paso, but the hotel made the stay bearable. The staff even brought a microwave to our room so we could heat up our 11 month old son’s food.

No Negotiating

We knew the hotel room prices were inflated due to the Brut Sun Bowl. After the game, the team had checked out and most guests were heading home. We decided to stay an extra night, but the front desk was unyielding when quoting us a one-night rate. We stayed across the street at 2/3’s less than the rate quoted for one night, and got a Continental breakfast included. Marriott was adamant and therefore had an empty room for the night and lost food revenue in the outlets. Will think twice before using a Marriott again.

Pretty nice hotel

Nice hotel. Receptionist service is okay, but could be better. Housekeeping is great.

Good Value Hotel

Nice hotel with typical guest room but good,firm mattress. Excellent service from very friendly staff. Great pool, whirlpool and sauna. A very good value. I’d definitely stay here again.

My Stay in El Paso Marriott

I stayed in the hotel with my family, wife and 2 children, for 1 night. The room was reasonably clean and pretty quiet. We enjoyed the pool and Mexican restaurants in downtown.

Such nice staff

My plane was delayed and, after flying for many hours that day, I called the hotel to come pick me up at the airport at some ungodly hour of the early morning. Without hesitation, the lady was so nice and informed me that the shuttle should be arriving shortly. To my utter amazement, it arrived no less than 5 minutes later, whereupon I climbed in, checked into the hotel with the greatest of ease, and blissfully collapsed into that oh-so-comfy king-sizd bed. In fact, I believe I fell asleep before actually hitting the mattress!

Bathroom needs improvement

Hotel bed was the best i’ve ever stayed at. The room was comparable to other hotels of similar price range. One negative note is that the bathroom needed a renovation. Our shower broke on the last night of our stay. But the manager waived one nights stay and our room service charges.

Marriott El Paso Airport - Mixed Feelings

I liked the location of the hotel. It is just outside the entrance to the airport. There are also a few restaurants in walking distance, such as Applebee’s & Cattle Baron’s right next door, and Chili’s just down the street. The front desk staff was pleasant, but the bar staff were downright rude. Seemed like acknowledging a customer and making a drink was the last thing they thought they should have to do. Also, the music in the bar is EXTREMELY loud. They had live karaoke going on and I just wanted to take my beer and get out of there because it was ridiculous how loud it was. Not a relaxing place to have a drink after a long day. However, the rooms were comfortable. The bed was very nice, with lots of pillows & a down comforter. The rooms were not fancy, but about what I expect from Marriott - clean & functional.

One of a few good hotels in El Paso

Its clean, you get plenty of pillows and the beds are comfortable. I think this is what most people want for a few nights stay away from home.

Traveler's tip on dining

This hotel offers a good breakfast buffet. There is a steak resturant accross the steet with a great salad bar and great steaks! Then there is Mexican food, great eats at El Bandito at Carlos and Mickeys, Only about 1.5 miles from the hotel. Just ask the front desk for directions.
