This hotel needs investment
We went on a family trip with our 2 year old daughter, and 5 year old son. It was dissapointing how dirty the room was; the carpet needs to be replaced immediately. The condition of the pool was dissapointing as well; the water was hot, and dirty! It was 100+ degrees outside, yet the pool felt as if it was a jacuzzi, even after 7pm. Obviously they don’t maintain the area at all (trash all over the pool). If you have to go to San Carlos I understand you don’t have many options, but my recommendation is not to stay at this hotel.

Needs to be updated
At first glance, this hotel is very nice. Once you have a chance to look around, it is very dated. We went in July and it is very hot and humid then. The only place it was cool was at the reception desk and our room. The lobby and hall ways were like being in a sauna. Also, there were not many people there, so the shops and other services were not always open. We noticed more services were available on Friday and Saturday. The pool was beautiful, but very warm. The sea was much cooler and offered relief. The room we stayed in was not updated, but per their website, the more expensive rooms are. They will not allow you to bring in any outside food, drinks or coolers. Because of how hot is was, we needed to drink alot and the only option was purchasing drinks from their restaurants or 1 gift shop (which wasn’t always open). No vending machines. Would be a wonderful place if they would do some updates and give more customer service.

Never again
I will never again stay at this hotel, poor customer service, hotel was poor maintain, worst rooms ever, old carpet and low maintain, old fashion rooms, air condition not working, tv from the 70’s and broken, I will never recommend this hotel, I had some family stay next door at some villas and 1000 times better than this at a better price, the only good thing the pool overall 0 star rating, I’ll just stay at the beach next time.
