Not the best bargain.
For what we paid for our night here, I certainly would have expected better customer service, a better neighborhood, and a more pleasant ambiance.

Hidden gem
This is a brand new hotel, in a gentrified area of Newark, close to highways to NYC, and a great deal. Rooms were comfortable, beds were great, breakfast buffet was comparable to more expensive hotels. Can’t beat it if you want to visit NYC or Newark area -- train from Newark to NYC close by. Plus -- we wanted to go out for Indian food, and staff recommended Jersey city restaurant which was incredible, and less than 10 minutes away. We were a little concerned about parking overnight in Newark, but parking lot is fenced in and monitored, so pretty safe.
