Wonderful... As usual!

Our group had 2 rooms reserved and, originally, we were at opposite ends of a hallway. The woman at the front desk was very accommodating and, while the hotel was very crowded (due to the Christian women’s conference in town that weekend which we were attending), she was able to juggle some things and get us in rooms next to one another. Marriott is my brand of choice for hotels and I’ve never been disappointed!

Very comfortable

Great place to stay in Greensboro. Rooms are very comfortable, restaurant food is very good, service is excellent. The only thing missing is a more substantial fitness room. There is one there but it is quite limited (and hot)

Awesome professional service! Very comfortable

THe staff at this hotel was amazing. My three little girls and I were in Greensboro for a funeral and the staff made the hotel seem like home. Everybody was extremely accomodating and friendly. Breakfast was excellent! Plenty of tasty selections to choose from. The rooms were spotless and had large flat screens. Bathrooms were great, clean, and had wonderful shampoos, conditioners, and lotions. THe hotel has a pool that is half indoor/half outdoor which was wonderful for the kids. Also made use of the gym which is available 24 hours. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Defnitely opt for the package with breakfast if available - it is well worth it.

Great Hotel, Free Laundry!

Although we had some complication at check-in, highly recommend confirming the type of room (double/king etc) prior to arrival when booking through Expedia. They slipped us for confirmed walk ups;however, they were very accommodating and we couldnt have found a better hotel. Indoor/outdoor pool and workout facility w/free laundry room.

Very Accomodating

We had a business meeting in Greensboro, NC at the Coliseum and the reason for choosing this hotel was b/c the pool area looked so relaxing. Well, we chose wisely because they delivered what the photos showed. When we got there we had a small problem with our corner floor level room...we had ants. Hotel management quickly moved us and the problem was solved. They prepped a room for us so fast that the bed sheets were still warm from the dryer. They also gave our entire party FREE breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant for our entire stay. Absolutely NO NOISE from being on the property of an airport. I completely recommend this hotel to anybody looking to stay in the area!

From beginning to end the staff did not disappoint. From my request for an early check-in to an accompanied tour of their restuarant, we were treated like "GUEST"

Nice hotel, with nice amenities, courteous vans

I went for a business meeting, and did not rent a car: no problem. The van they had took me to (and back) to my nearby Greensboro meeting. The hotel was nice (only slept there and off to the meeting), but: 1) breakfast was good 2) After the meeting, and I had an afternoon to kill, they let me stay around by the pool, which was great, and it was sunny (always helps). The hotel PCs in the business area let me get my email without me using my laptop. 3) Okay, this is trivial: the food was just okay, but I had a potatoes with cheese and some cabbage that really was great. I mean, nothing you’d travel for, but such a nice touch and what I’d never had in that combination in my life, and it was superb. (Note to self: appreciate the small things in life when they are there.) So, all in all, I would not travel to it for itself. But given that one is in Greensboro, NC, then I’d say you would be doing quite alright at this fine Marriott.

The hotel is located at the airport which made it very convenient. We were flying out for a vacation and Marriott gave us a parking pass so we didn’t have to park in long term parking at the airport. With what we saved, it made the room price very attractive. Would definitely stay there again.

LOVED IT!!!!!

This was a pleasant hotel to stay at. I loved the service and friendly employees. It was very clean and I got a VERY NICE/GOOD nights’ sleep! Nice rooms, fitness center, pool, lounge and restaurant!!! Could not be more satisfied! Only complaint is that I ordered bottled water, sugar, and additional coffee for my room - from the front desk, but 2 hours later, I called front desk and THEN those things were eventually delivered to my room! I believe that it was due to confusion during the shift changes of hotel employees, but it is forgivable!:-) VERY pleased otherwise!!!!

I’ve got food allergies. The dining room not only prepared me special food but checked on and advised me of a potential allergin in food I was about to eat. I wanted to find some art work that the hotel had had previously and they not only located it for me but supplied a digital camera, allowed me to take pictures, and then emailed them to me. I felt like returning royalty and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Fantastic, caring staff. Thanks!

pretty small

This hotel had a very small bathroom. The room itself was also on the smaller side. And when we tried to use the vending machines on our floor, all the drinks were sold out and even the ice machine was empty.

The Marriott at Greensboro is a traveler’s sanctuary! The access, location and attention to detail minimize the stress associated with selecting a hotel. Customer service, upholding room standards and navigating airport connections with a shuttle service were top notch. The staff did all of the detailed work for us...what a relief!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Ask about leaving your car on site at the hotel instead of paying long term parking at the airport. One of the best travel perks we’ve found!

restaurant closed & pool table off limits

It was disappointing when my 17 year old son and I discovered that the restaurant was closed, so the only food service was in the bar. Once in the bar, a large sign noted that the pool table was off limits to anyone under 21, which was also disappointing. The wobbly chair, dark bar lighting, TVs all showing sports, and small bar table was not condusive to a comfortable dinner with an under 21 year old, who is not a sports fan and was barred from the one fun thing in the room. Not cool. Nothing to do after but head back to the room and watch tv. As it is an airport hotel, there wasn’t anything else nearby - it would ahve been nice to have some other options of food and entertainment for our one night stay.

Good value for price and convenience to airport

Used the hotel because we had an early morning flight. Hotel is five minute or less shuttle to airport. Beds were very comfortable and we got a good night’s sleep before a long day of travel

Can’t beat the convenience. The staff, amenities, and cleanliness are all high-quality business class level.

Great place

I’ve stayed at the Marriott twice recently. Both times I had a beautiful clean room. Very comfortable and quite. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am online booking a 3rd stay. I have a college student in the area.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed. It was convenient, clean, and efficient.We did have a problem with not water one night. And the toilet seat was very loose and uncomfortable. But it served our purpose all together.

Beware the weekend special

Rooms on my wing were rented to a large traveling sports club of teen-aged kids, who stayed out in the hall partying until well after 1 AM. I had to make 3 calls to the front desk before the kiddies were finally convinced to "go get a room", and I could get to sleep. This spoiled an otherwise pleasant Saturday night stay. Beware of weekend "specials"--you may end up on a wing with these kids next time!
