Excellent location
This hotel is ideally located, within steps of the ponte vecchio and all major sights in Florence. Unfortunately, however, the hotel itself is dated, stuffy and generally rather run down. My wife and I recommend the hotel, but only because of the location. If the price is right, it’s a decent place to stay, but you could probably do better.

Great central location
We walked to every major church and museum except one. Excellent stay, very comfortable and very quiet, even though our room (with balcony) was directly over the main street. Service was very good, especially the concierge and breakfast servers. Continental breakfast was a little repetitious but always adequate. We wouldn’t hesitate a moment to go back. All restaurants and gelato shops were close, not any bargains, but always good tasting.
Traveler's tip
There is a small grocery store about three doors up the side street from the main entrance to the hotel. Fresh fruit, sparkling water, cheese, Chianti, crackers, and other goodies at (comparibly) reasonable prices. Enjoy.

Perfect location to see Florence in style
It is in a great locationa and you can walk anywhere from here. I was very pleased with the staff and hotel it self. The breakfast was great for the Italian style travler. Without hesitation I will go back. There was a great selection of places to eat and get a great bottle of wine. Shopping was plentiful. You can walk within about 20 min to almost any of the museum’s and sites. The staff as very helpful and great. I do recommend you leave your key at the desk when going out, it is on the biggest and heaviest knocker you can imagine (lol).

It is located in a great area, figure either frome the train station or airport about 10 - 20 Euro.
