Good value and location
Was pleasantly surprised by good condition of hotel and quiet room; staff very pleasant and helpful, too. Hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops; subway station (downtown only) is very close at the east end of the block. I would stay there again.

Can’t wait to to go back
I was not expecting much of a hotel when i booked because i had heard for so long that New York is so expensive the places to stay are tiny and very expensive. So when we found a great deal that included hotel and air so cheap, i thought ok, well, i need to be prepared to deal with whatever comes my way. I am happy to say that nothing could have been more wrong. The hotel is beautiful old New York and well maintained. The rooms are not huge, but they are not tiny either, perfect. The location amazing! everything was within walking distance. We found this restaurant called Ciao Bella Napoli that made me a believes, New York has the best Pizza in the world! Can’t wait to go back.

I’d stay again
Hotel stay Oct 9-11, 2009, I’d recommend this hotel to anyone, we didn’t stay in our room much other than to sleep but I was pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room. There was a little restaurant directly next to the hotel where we got a quick breakfast before we headed out for the day...staff was friendly and helped us store our luggage until we were able to check in. We had a room on the top floor facing the street and were never bothered by traffic noise. We’d definitely stay here again.
