Would go back again!!!
This hotel was very convenient to the center of the city and was in a good location. The room was very spacious and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Not impressed
Hotel is being renovated at the time, so there is a lot of construction going on. Also, they listed free internet in their rooms, but I had to pay when I got there. Rooms were a bit old and lacking in any ammenties. Breakfast at the hotel wasn’t complimentary.

Great value for location and amenities.
I liked the location across from the Southern Cross station which has dircet bus access to the airport. Southern Cross has many shops, supermarket, food court, discount outlet. Tram stop on La Trobe Street adjacent to hotel. Location is on the outskirts of the CBD so a good 15 minute walk to the main center but there is a free tram that loops the CBD if you want to wait. Excellent fitness center for a hotel this size and with free weights. Room perfect for single and comfortable for two, very basic but clean and simple. Would recommend for those willing to not be in the center of things.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Use the free tram to circle the CBD. By snacks drinks at the Coles supermarket at train station and store in fridge.

Great hotel in a great location
Very nice hotel with a fantastic view of Melbourne. Updated with a modern feel. Room was a bit small, but clean and had everything we needed. Great breakfast in the morning, and hotel provided free parking for our visiting guests. Wasn’t noisy considering proximity to the train station. Great value!
