Nice hotel to stay

No hot water to take a shower
Dear all, we had a pleasant day trip to Mammoth Lakes to enjoy the mountains and the nature. The only problem was this hotel where we didn’t get hot water to take a shower. After complaining they assured to fix it until the evening, but nothing. The water stayed cold. The next morning it was the same situation and nobody could help us out. Finally we hoped to get some of our money back, but the hotel reception found an excuse. Never again!

Unfortunately very noisy
We had stayed in this lodge before and were happy with the experience. This trip was a little different. Unfortunately our first night there was a group of young people in the room next to us who were up partying until 2:00a.m. I had called the front desk earlier to let them know how loud they were. He said he would see if he could get them to quiet down. It would seem he didn’t try or he was unsuccessful. After stuffing cotton in my ears I was able to get some sleep... untill 6:00a.m. when they started yelling "All right, let’s get outta here!" The front desk apologized to me the next day and our second night was much better. Just keep in mind the walls are paper thin and you can hear almost everything in the rooms next to you.
