Would stay here again
This was my first visit to Kent and I came on a business trip. My hotel requirements are: a clean and comfortable room, a bar and restaurant, and a fitness room. The room was small, but otherwise fine. The bar had a choice of three draft beers and virtually anything else you could want. Theres a pub within walking distance (The Crown and Rose -or vice versa). If I return, Ill check it out. The restaurant was exceptional. I ate there four nights and wasnt disappointed. The "catch of the day" featured local fresh fish (Halibut and sea bass when I was there). The breakfast buffet was also good. Tips were included if you charge to your room. I wish they had told me. The fitness room is a converted squash court. The equipment was worn and dated. It lacked cardio equipment. A treadmill or recumbent bike would have boon nice. I went for morning walks. The sidewalks are rather narrow, but its in an interesting village.
