excellent location, great views
If the Neptune were any closer to the beach it would be in the sea. Seemingly every room has a view. From mine, I could see Aqaba and beyond. Access to the boardwalk is through an attended gate by poolside. My room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet had many selections, and I was never bothered by noise. Altogether a fine hotel, which I highly recommend. I look forward to staying again.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
The scuba diving in Eilat did not meet my expectations. The coral seemed sparse and in some places damaged. There was trash on the sea floor. Next time I will dive at nearby sites in Egypt, where I hear the coral is better.

Very Satisfying Stay
The staff of the hotel all were motivated to make our stay pleasant. The food over the Passover holiday was very delicious and consistantly good. The hotel was newly renovated and well kept up. Enjoyed our stay, a good choice for an Eilat stay.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
A trip to Petra Jordan was very worthwhile. If you are going to this arrange in advance for transportation at the sight whether horse cart, horse back, donkey or camel.
