Beautiful hotel, great location
I have stayed at The Medina a few times before and just love the location and the style of the hotel. It is a 5 minute walk to the main outdoor mall area downtown and just a few steps from the tram (trolley) that takes you directly to the beach (Glenelg). There is a supermarket and fresh food market a few mins away too. Many restaurants are on Gouger St (next St. over). The only reason I didn’t give top marks for "comfort" of the room is that the pillows are a bit thin and hard and the temperature in the room seems to take a long time to adjust once you turn the control up or down. The shower pressure is fantastic.
