Visit to the Christmas Market
We stayed here for one night to visit the Christmas Market. It was about 30 minutes walk from the main Dusseldorf train station and 15 minutes walk to the Christmas Market in the city center. It was a nice area (seemed safe and quiet), and we don’t mind walking. The hotel was clean and quiet. Our room wasn’t ready for us at 1:30 (a little early for check-in) but they kept our bags so we could get out and see the town. The room was big enough, especially by European standards. The breakfast, included in the price, was fantastic! They even had a waffle iron to make your own waffles!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The Christmas Market was nice if you happen to be in the area. It’s spread out over several different squares and streets, but is easily walkable. Lots of good food and atmosphere, but not the lowest prices.

Great inexpensive hotel in Dusseldorf in near the Media Harbor
Great location near the harbor in a nice residential area of Dusseldorf. S-Bahn stop across the street. Really great breakfast (included in price). There is an elevator. Beds are very comfortable with individual duvets for double beds. Very inexpensive and great value for the price. Staff speaks English fluently. Great value - would definitely stay here again.

Very close to Media Harbor with new restaurants and the Old Town of Dusseldorf. Both are within walking distance, or take the S-Bahn from across the street.
