hotel is suffering from the change in owners
The Sagamore is a lovely hotel and most of the staff makes a good effort but with the Present change in ownership the hotel lacks in Service. Their restaurant was closed during my Stay and room service wouldn’t answer until Friday when they had more business.Calling for Just normal service is tiresome. For the price it was shabby. Pity.

Call them before you commit and ask pointedly How things are. One shouldn’t have to make do In an upscale hotel when you’re on vacation.

Will stay here whenever we return to Miami
Our Stay was fantastic! The hotel is really nice, perfect location to enjoy Southbeach. Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool area was great we spent each day by the pool and just went in and out to the beach from there. Staff by the pool could not be more helpful and pleasant. My only small complaint was the miscommunication about the valet parking when we first arrived. Parking is $35 per night and then you can get you car anytime you want during that time. Will go back to the Sagamore anytime I go to Miami.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
There is a liquor store directly accross the street and a Walgreens less than one block for items like water soda etc. The rooms have a fab display of items and your fridge is stocked with everything you can think of but it all comes with a big price tag.
